Privacy policy
This is a faithful translation for information purposes; the Italian text is the legally binding version.
Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “Regulation”), this page describes how the personal data of users visiting the Autotrasporti Piccinini S.r.l. website at https://www.transilospiccinini.com/ are processed.
This notice is also issued in implementation of Recommendation no. 2/2001 adopted by the Article 29 Working Party on 17 May 2001, which sets out minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data and, in particular, the methods, timing and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection.
This information does not cover other websites, pages or online services reachable through hyperlinks that may be published on the site.
Data controller
Data relating to identified or identifiable natural persons may be processed as a result of visiting the site.
The data controller is Autotrasporti Piccinini S.r.l., Via Parigi 8 – Interporto di Parma, Località Bianconese, 43010 Fontevivo (PR), Italy, telephone +39 0521 615186, e-mail ass.clienti@transilospiccinini.com.
Legal basis for processing
The personal data described on this page are processed because they are necessary for the controller’s legitimate interest in ensuring the proper operation of the web services offered and obtaining statistics on visits and use of those services (Art. 6(1)(f) of the Regulation), and because they are necessary for the performance of a contract or of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) of the Regulation) in order to answer the requests sent to us.
Types of data processed and purposes
Browsing data
The IT systems and software procedures used to run this site acquire, in the course of their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This category includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers and devices used by visitors, the URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature it could allow users to be identified.
These data, which are necessary to use the web services, are also processed to obtain statistics on the use of the services (most visited pages, number of visitors by hour or day, geographical areas of origin, etc.) and to check that the services work properly. Statistics are produced with Netlify Analytics from the server logs, without placing cookies or other tracking tools on the user’s device.
The data (log files, traffic data) may be used to establish liability in the event of computer crimes against the site and, for the same reason, kept by the ISP (Internet Service Provider) and by the web host.
Data provided by the user
Optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses shown on the site entails the acquisition of the sender’s contact details (e-mail address) needed to reply, as well as any personal data included in the communications. This processing does not require consent, as it is necessary for the performance of a contract or of pre-contractual measures at the data subject’s request in order to answer the requests received; providing the data is therefore necessary to deal with the request, and failure to provide them would make it impossible to follow up the request.
Sending messages does not entail automatic subscription to any promotional or commercial mailing list.
The data collected in this way are kept for the time strictly necessary to answer the messages. If a business relationship is established, the data will be kept at least for the duration of that relationship.
Contact form
Filling in the quote request form on the site in order to request information entails the acquisition of the sender’s contact details (e-mail address) needed to reply, as well as any personal data included in the communications. This processing does not require consent, as it is necessary for the performance of a contract or of pre-contractual measures at the data subject’s request in order to answer the requests and business contacts received; providing the data is therefore necessary to deal with the request, and failure to provide them would make it impossible to follow up the request.
The data entered in the form are collected through the hosting provider’s Netlify Forms service (see “Recipients of the data”) and forwarded to the controller.
Filling in the form does not entail automatic subscription to any promotional or commercial mailing list.
The data collected in this way are kept for the time strictly necessary to answer the messages. If a business relationship is established, the data will be kept at least for the duration of that relationship.
External services opened by links on the site
Some buttons open external services only when the user selects them: the “phone” and “e-mail” links open the apps on the user’s device; the “Open in Maps” link opens Google Maps. From that moment the respective providers’ privacy notices apply. The site does not embed maps, videos or third-party content that load automatically.
Recipients of the data
Browsing data are kept by the ISP (Internet Service Provider) and by the web host (the party that hosts the web server on its own physical machines), which keep them for the periods required by law.
Personal data collected through messages and contacts via the form are also processed by internal staff authorised by the Controller, acting on specific instructions regarding the purposes and methods of processing.
No profiling is carried out and the data collected are not subject to automated decision-making.
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, United States), acting as data processor. Servers may be located both inside and outside the European Union (for example in the United States). Transfers of data outside the European Union take place with an adequate level of protection, on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the other instruments provided for by the Regulation. The data processing agreement is available at https://www.netlify.com/pdf/netlify-dpa.pdf. Netlify’s privacy policy is available at https://www.netlify.com/privacy/.
Rights of data subjects and right to lodge a complaint
Data subjects have the right to obtain from the Controller, where applicable, access to their personal data and the rectification or erasure of those data, restriction of processing concerning them or to object to processing (Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation).
Data subjects who consider that the processing of their personal data through this site infringes the Regulation have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for example the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), as provided for by Article 77 of the Regulation, or to take legal action (Article 79 of the Regulation).
Requests relating to the above articles must be sent to the Controller using the contact details given at the top of this notice.
