Cookie policy
In short: this site places no cookies or other tracking tools on your device, which is why you see no banner. This is a faithful translation; the Italian text is the legally binding version.
This notice on the use of cookies and other technologies that track users’ online activity is provided to users as a supplement to the privacy policy, in implementation of Recommendation no. 2/2001 adopted by the Article 29 Working Party on 17 May 2001, which sets out minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data and, in particular, the methods, timing and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection, and in compliance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
The data controller is Autotrasporti Piccinini S.r.l., Via Parigi 8 – Interporto di Parma, Località Bianconese, 43010 Fontevivo (PR), Italy, telephone +39 0521 615186, e-mail ass.clienti@transilospiccinini.com.
This information does not cover other websites, pages or online services reachable through hyperlinks that may be published on the site.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text strings that a website can send to and store on the user’s device while browsing, in order to remember certain information about the user; this information is then sent back to the web server hosting the site on subsequent visits.
What are cookies used for?
Cookies are used for different purposes: to perform authentication (for example to access a personal account), to monitor sessions and keep the user’s settings when moving from one page to another (for example the language in which the site is displayed), to store information on specific configurations of users accessing the web server, to store browsing preferences, to collect anonymous statistics (for example to monitor visits to the site) and for marketing.
Cookies can first be divided into two broad categories according to who sets them: first-party cookies, set by the operator of the site being visited, and third-party cookies, set by other services (for example Google, Facebook, etc.).
By duration, there are session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed, and persistent cookies, which remain until their set expiry date.
Finally, cookies can be divided into technical or necessary cookies, which are essential for browsing the site and providing the service, for example to perform authentication or remember the display language; analytics or statistical cookies, used by site operators to collect information on the number of users and how they visit the site and thus produce statistics on the service and its use; and profiling or marketing cookies, used to link specific actions or recurring behaviour patterns in the use of the service’s features to specific identified or identifiable persons, in order to create profiles grouped into homogeneous clusters so that targeted advertising can be sent in line with the preferences shown by the user while browsing.
Technical cookies do not require the user’s consent and are therefore also called necessary, while profiling cookies, whether first- or third-party, may only be used with the user’s prior consent; analytics or statistical cookies are treated like technical cookies only if they collect anonymous data, otherwise they too require the user’s prior consent.
What cookies does this site use?
This site uses no cookies – neither technical, nor statistical, nor profiling – and no other tracking tools (such as pixels, fingerprinting or browser local storage). For this reason no consent banner is shown.
Visit statistics (most viewed pages, number of visits, approximate geographical origin) are produced with Netlify Analytics from the logs of the server hosting the site, without reading or writing any information on the user’s device. The data processed are described in the privacy policy under “Browsing data”.
The site does not embed maps, videos, social buttons or other third-party content that load automatically. Links to external services (for example “Open in Maps”) open the provider’s site only when the user chooses to: from then on, that provider’s cookie notice applies.
Disabling cookies in your browser
Users can still set their browser not to accept cookies automatically. You can delete all cookies stored in your browser or block new ones from being set. For instructions for each browser, follow one of these links:

Finally, you can enable the “Do Not Track” option available in most modern browsers. Websites designed to respect this option should automatically stop collecting some browsing data when it is enabled. However, as noted, not all websites are set up to respect it.
